Film Noir Opening (Real Product)
This opening is a really classic one, and it's style accomodates all the conventions of film noir, including the monochromatic colour scheme, chiaroscuro styles, smoking and shadows. The credit text is also very conventional, white bold and in capitals, dependant on the text.
I found this online, and thought it interesting and worth a mention on the blog. The product isn't genuine and hasn't been produced or endorsed by an institution, but It's been constructed very well, and could also provide us with hints and tricks into how to make our film noir look modern, if we decide we want to do that.
